The School of Applied Sciences is dedicated to providing high-quality, industry-oriented education in the fields of Computer Applications and Information Technology. Through its undergraduate (BCA) and postgraduate (MCA) programmes, the School equips students with strong foundational knowledge, practical skills and hands-on expertise in emerging technologies.
The School offers specialized programmes in BCA – General, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Cloud Computing & Cyber Security; and MCA – General, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Cyber Security and Forensics.
With a strong emphasis on student-centric learning, innovative pedagogy, research, and ethical practices, we nurture competent professionals who are ready to meet the demands of the IT industry and contribute meaningfully to society through technology-driven solutions.
Our Undergraduate Science programs provide a strong foundation in scientific principles, research methods, and practical laboratory skills, preparing students for careers in science, technology, research, and higher education.
Our Postgraduate Science programs focus on advanced scientific knowledge, research skills, and specialized training. These programs are designed to enhance analytical thinking, innovation, and practical expertise, preparing students for careers in research, academia, industry, and advanced scientific development.
Director's Message
As Director, I am pleased to lead an institution that is committed to academic excellence, research innovation, and industry relevance. With over three decades of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration, I strongly believe in fostering a progressive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and technical competence.
My research interests in distributed systems, cloud computing, and performance engineering have driven meaningful contributions through publications, funded projects, and collaborations with premier organizations such as DRDO and leading IT industries. Our focus remains on strengthening research culture, promoting industry–institute partnerships, and enhancing student employability through practical exposure and skill development.
We continuously strive to align our academic processes with global standards through quality initiatives such as NBA and NAAC. I encourage students and faculty to innovate, collaborate, and contribute towards building a technologically advanced and knowledge-driven society.
