Foreword

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sapthagiri NPS University has been established as a proactive mechanism to sustain and enhance academic and administrative quality within the University. The IQAC functions as the University’s internal framework for continuous quality improvement and institutional development.

The primary objective of the IQAC is to develop a systematic approach for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the University, ensuring excellence in teaching, research, governance, and student services.
 

Vision

To promote a culture of quality that supports innovation, academic excellence, research advancement, and the holistic development of students, thereby positioning the University as a leader in higher education.
 

Mission

  • Promote quality enhancement in academic and administrative functioning of the University.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through systematic evaluation and quality audits.
  • Facilitate the implementation of University quality policies and best practices.
  • Encourage innovation in teaching, research, and governance.
     

Purpose

The purpose of the IQAC is to ensure that Sapthagiri NPS University maintains high standards in academic and administrative performance while meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations, including:

  • Students
  • Faculty and staff
  • Alumni
  • Employers and industry partners
  • Regulatory and accreditation bodies

The IQAC acts as a central coordinating body for planning, monitoring, and evaluating quality enhancement initiatives.
 

Aim

The primary aim of the IQAC is to establish a strong internal quality assurance system that promotes continuous improvement and academic excellence.

It strives to create a learner-centric academic environment supporting high-quality teaching, meaningful research, and innovation while institutionalizing a culture of quality across the University.

  • Establish an effective information system for monitoring quality.
