Director's Message

The Department of CSE – Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (CSE-AI&DS) at Sapthagiri NPS University having well-experienced and dedicated faculty members committed to providing quality technical education and fostering innovation among students. The Department offers an industry-oriented curriculum designed to meet global technological trends and industry standards, enabling students to develop strong analytical, programming, research, and problem-solving skills in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science. The Department provides state-of-the-art infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories, advanced computing facilities, and smart classrooms to support effective teaching and learning. Faculty members continuously guide students in research activities, innovative projects, paper publications, and solving complex real-world problems. Students gain practical exposure through laboratories, internships, industrial visits, workshops, hackathons, seminars, and real-time projects. The Department has signed MoUs and collaborated with reputed organizations such as Cisco, Amazon Web Services (AWS), MEVI Technologies, Infosys Springboard, Karunadu Technologies and IEEE to strengthen industry interaction, certification programs, technical training, workshops, internships, and research-oriented learning opportunities. Various Technical clubs and IEEE Student Chapters are actively functioning to organize coding competitions, ideathons, webinars, technical talks, and skill enhancement activities that help students improve their technical and leadership abilities. The Department also provides comprehensive placement training including aptitude training, coding practice, soft skills development, mock interviews, resume building sessions, and technical interview preparation to enhance students’ employability and career readiness. Department supports the experimental, activity and project-based learning from the first semester. We provide the workshop for technical skills, personality, career guidance and entrepreneurship Development for holistic development of students. In addition, the Department strongly supports curricular and co-curricular activities by encouraging participation in certification programs, cultural events, sports, community outreach initiatives, entrepreneurship activities, and professional development programs for the overall development of students.
