Description: The 802.11 LAN is based on cellular Architecture .This system is subdivided in to cells where each cell is controlled by base station (Access point. or AP).Wireless LAN may be formed by the single cell with an access point, where access points are connected through some kind of backbone called Distribution system. The 802.11 LAN uses STA’S, ESS and AP’s for their communication.
Involved in testing all the protocols of 802.11 of MAC layer.
Tested NIC for TCP response time, TCP throughput, UDP Stream throughput.
Driver installation testing on Linux, Solaris and windows.
Involved in manual testing, written scripts for regular tasks.
Knowledge of wire shark.
