Dr S. Senthil Kumar, a highly accomplished academic and researcher, has over 28 years of experience in Teaching, Research, and Academic Leadership. Currently serving as Professor and Director of the Department of CSE-Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Sapthagiri NPS University, he is also a recognised Research Supervisor under VTU and Presidency University. Manipal University. His qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering and a Postdoctoral Fellowship from Lincoln University, Malaysia. His core areas of expertise are Data Science and Networks. Dr Senthil Kumar has guided PhD scholars and 50+ PG students, published over 50+ Research Papers, authored 3 books, contributed 7 book chapters, and presented at numerous national and international conferences. He holds a larger number of patents and has served as a reviewer for reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals. His leadership extends to having organised workshops, FDPs, and International Conferences and playing key roles in curriculum development, NAAC/NBA accreditation, exam coordination, and academic governance. He has secured over government funding (DST, AICTE) and applied for Research Projects, including significant proposals to DRDO, DST-SERB, and AICTE-RPS. Dr Senthil Kumar is also a Life Member of professional bodies like ISTE and CRSI. His dedication to educational excellence and technological innovation continues to shape the next generation of computer scientists.
