DR MADHUMITA

Profile

Dr. Madhumita is an accomplished academician, researcher, and administrator with over 15 years of teaching and academic leadership experience in Computer Science and Information Technology. She currently serves as Assistant Professor at Sapthagiri NPS University, Bengaluru, and has previously held academic leadership roles, including Program Manager (HOD) for BCA and MCA programs.

She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science, with research focused on deep learning and aspect-based sentiment analysis using BERT models. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Cyber Security, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Healthcare Analytics.

Dr. Madhumita has authored several research papers published in Scopus-indexed journals, IEEE Xplore, and other peer-reviewed international publications. She has presented her work at numerous international conferences and actively contributes to the research community as a conference reviewer, session chair, and editorial contributor.

An active contributor to academic excellence, she has served as a question paper setter, paper evaluator, NAAC committee member at institution level, ICT Academy SPOC, and organizer of hackathons, faculty development programs, seminars, and student innovation activities. She is also the author of multiple academic textbooks covering Operating Systems, Machine Learning, Computer Architecture, Data Structures, and Artificial Intelligence.

Her scholarly contributions include granted patents in AI-driven healthcare technologies and industrial applications. She is committed to fostering research, innovation, quality education, and interdisciplinary collaboration while mentoring students and young researchers.
