Dr. C. Kalaiarasan Ph.D. pursued his B.E degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathidasan University, M.S in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, M.E in Computer Science and Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai. He has been in the field of teaching for more than 29 years and 5 Years in Industry. He was a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at PSG College of Technology Coimbatore, Principal Tamil Nadu College of Engineering Coimbatore, and Dean of SNS Technical Institutions and Presidency University, Bangalore. Currently he is working as Dean-Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Sapthagiri NPS University, Bangalore.
He has published more than 65 Research Papers in International and National journals and conference proceedings. His research areas include Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks, TCP/IP, Wireless Networking, Software Engineering, IoT and Database Systems. Under his Supervision Ten PhD
scholars received Doctorate degree and Two are pursuing their studies for PhD. He has received 40 Lakhs grants for developing software on Security and Mobile Data Base Systems.
He was a BoS Member Secretary at Presidency University and Research Advisory Committee. He has Setup Innovation Lab in collaboration with Texas Instruments, Grid and Cloud Computing Lab facility for about Rs.21 lakhs. Organized many research seminars on Internet of Things and emerging technologies. He has received Distinguished Faculty in Engineering award from Venus International Foundation and involved in NAAC Accreditation and NBA Accreditation. He has registered Four Patents including One Australian Patent. He is a Member of IEEE, Life Member of ISTE and Systems Society of India, Member in CSI-Computer Society of India, Advisor IEI Students Chapter and Life Member of Advanced Computing and Communications Society.
