I year | Beginners | – OPD & ward work – Basic emergency care – Minor procedures | – BLS – ACLS – Medical courses – BCBR courses – Good clinical practice certification – Thesis synopsis submission – Personal attitudes acquisition of knowledge – Preparing patient for bronchoscopy,PFT and other procedure – History taking – Clinical examination – Emergency care under supervision – OPD & ward work – Participate in department teaching activities. |
IInd Year | Intermediate | Cognitive affective psychomotor skills | – Independent night duties – Thoracocentesis ICD procedures (PI) – DRP 3 months – Peripheral posting 4 months
– Training for NTEP -1 week – Poster and paper presentation, dissertation – Thesis part-I – Allied health sciences and physiotherapy teaching programme – Patient counseling & communication skills – Participate in department teaching activities |
IIIrd year | Final | Cognitive affective psychomotor skills | – Independent duties – Diagnostic work up and plan of management – Dissertation part II – Publication – UG teaching – Assisting in bronchoscopy – Participate in department teaching activities
