DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOLOGY
The department of Pharmacology is involved in training Medical and Paramedical students.
Department is involved in teaching various Principles of Drugs and Therapeutics to Undergraduates, Postgraduates and Paramedical Students (Allied, Nursing and Physiotherapy students)
Department plays a pivotal role in training undergraduates The basics of drugs, rationale use of drugs and treating common diseases in their day to day practices. Department also trains Phase III part I students ( third year MBBS students) in learning clinical data collection and analyzing them in the form of ELECTIVE training.
Postgraduates are trained in Clinical and applied Pharmacology, research, monitoring of adverse drug reactions along the updates on recent advances.
Apart from Academic work , department is also heading various committees like Pharmacovigilance committee, Drugs and therapeutics committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee and Institutional Animal Ethics Committee.
