Department of Respiratory Medicine at SIMS & RC provides comprehensive care for patients suffering from various respiratory diseases such as COPD, Bronchial asthma, Pneumonia, Pleural effusion, Sleep Disorders, Respiratory failure etc. The department offers patient care at well equipped Respiratory ward & ICU as well as OPD services. Various diagnostic & therapeutic procedures such as Thoracocentesis, ICD insertion, Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy, PFT, DLCO, Sleep study etc. are available. The department also contributes to undergraduate as well as postgraduate teaching for future doctors. The department also conducts clinical research to advance scientific knowledge.
