The School of Applied Sciences(SAP), at Sapthagiri NPS University, the students study the latest technology through hands on session with the guidance of highly qualified staff and with world class infrastructure. In the School of Applied Sciences, at Sapthagiri NPS University 3-year UG program- Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and 2-year PG Program- Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with different specialization – AI & ML, Cloud Technology, AI with Data Science, Digital Forensics. A team of experienced staff are teaching with industry experts. Faculty members of the School of Applied Sciences are actively engaged in research in the frontier areas, resulting in publications in international and national journals, participation in international and national conferences, as well as to get patents. The school has a multi-disciplinary team of faculty and collaborates with other Schools to offer these cutting-edge domains.
In the School of Applied Sciences at Sapthagiri NPS University, during the course of study, the students learn the overall, latest technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Devops, PowerBI, AWS, Analytics Skills, Block Chain technology, 3D Printing, Internet of Things (IOT), Augmented and Virtual Reality, Data Science, Robotic Process Automation, Cyber Security, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise development, Project management etc. The School initiated MOU with IT industry for partial delivery of courses. The course offers intensive interaction with relevant industries and academic institutions, through summer internships, major and minor projects and industry-led courses embedded in the study programme. In an outer layer, the students are theoretically and practically equipped to a global perspective to be successful IT professionals. The School of Applied Sciences also train students in non- technical areas, such as soft skills, critical thinking, research and creativity. As a graduate, the student will have a wide variety of career choices in IT industry or organization. The course will open lucrative career avenues in R&D, teaching, IT industry and research in reputed industries.
